Inspire2teach1 Minority Scholarship

Inspire2Teach 1, Inc., is a non-profit organization established "to ensure that vulnerable at-risk student populations have access to critical information and resources that could increase their opportunities in the fields of education, the arts, finance, health, and wellness." Every dime that we collect supports literacy, resources, and scholarships for youth in our communities. 

Inspire2Teach1, Inc. will award scholarships to minority high school graduates who reside in the Columbus, Ohio area. Our first scholarships are available to help students with their expenses as they enter higher education institutions.  

The scholarship application opens on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 8:00 AM EST and ends on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:59pm EST.

To be eligible, students must; 

• Identify as Black or African American, Hispanic, Latino, Asian/Pacific Islanders,      American Indian/Alaska Native and vulnerable populations (homeless,      migrant and low- social economic); 
• Be a current high school senior and complete the application, found on our      website at www.Inspire2Teach1.org, which requires a copy of your high school transcript and one letter of reference (from your high school teacher, counselor, administrator, or community service representative);
• Provide an acceptance letter to a two or four-year college or university or      vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year; and
• Upon submitting a complete application, be available for a virtual interview      with the board of directors.

Please complete the scholarship application on the Inspire2Teach1 website, attach a copy of your high school transcript, one letter of reference, and the acceptance letter from your vocational-technical, two or four-year college.
